Poems Written by Children

-By Vineet Pandey, X B

One hot summer,
a long time ago,
I wrote a poem,
no one ever knew.

It was the kind of poem,
I cannot forget,
and that's a kind of poem,
You would have never met.

I hid it in the garden,
under it in the garden,
I dug a hole and buried it,
and wrapped it using tin foil.

I put a cross to mark the spot,
But that was trampled down,
So I will write another poem,
I'll call it lost and found.
